ABOUT VILLA CARPE DIEM

The villa was built in the 16th century and originally used as a summer residence of aristocrats. Villa Carpe Diem is a unique property with 6 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms, several amazing Mediterranean gardens, an outdoor pool and a private chapeland it  is a suitable accommodation for up to 14 people.

The breathtaking view of the sea from the terraces and a small bridge will make you feel like being in a fairy tale. The residential part of the property stretches over two floors and is built as a typical local stone house.
Its spacious lounge foyer, which is the central part of the ground floor, is perfect for welcoming guests, who will definitely be fascinated by the architectural combination of the antique and modern design. When passing this outstanding foyer, one encounters two modernly designed and decorated bedrooms with matrimonial beds and en suite bathtub bathrooms. One of these bedrooms has a direct access to the stunning garden area.

On the left side of the foyer, a fully equipped and professional kitchen, a stylishly designed bar area, a cozy and charming living room with indoor fireplace and an incredible dining area with the dining table for 16 people have found their perfect place. On this floor there is also a laundry room with washing machine and dryer.

The historical, stony staircase from the entrance foyer are leading to the first floor and the elegant, spacious and light-bathed library, which has an access to two terraces overlooking the bay of Zaton. This stunning view is perfect to make the everyday stress completely disappear. On this storey there are also 4 similar luxury suites, each designed as a duplex suite and consisting of a stylish lounge and a modern bathroom with walk-in shower. Wooden staircase lead to the gallery, where a king size bed will allow you to sleep in heavenly peace.

Behind the villa is a stunning garden with citruses, olives and lavender with a sensational outdoor pool, equipped lounge area and grill invite to relax in privacy of this quiet area.
The chapel of St. Jerome is also a part of the garden area. 

THE SURROUNDINGS

The location of this luxury villa in Dubrovnik Croatia is wonderful – Zaton is a picturesque and charming little village in a bay, perfect for relaxing in the sunshine and swimming in the sea. It has little pebbly beaches and swimming spots, and plenty of pine trees for shade – it’s really pleasant to walk along the shore or just to sit in one of the little sea-front restaurants sipping a glass of local wine!
