THE HOME

Villa Carpe Diem was built in the 16th century and originally used as a summer residence of aristocrats.Its spacious lounge foyer, which is the central part of the ground floor, is perfect for welcoming guests, who will definitely be fascinated by the architectural combination of the antique and modern design. When passing this outstanding foyer, one encounters two modernly designed bedrooms.
On the left side of the foyer, a fully equipped kitchen, a stylishly designed bar area, a cozy living room with indoor fireplace and an incredible dining area.The stony staircase from the entrance foyer are leading to the first floor and the elegant, spacious library, which has an access to two terraces overlooking the bay of Zaton. On this storey there are also 4 similar luxury suites. Behind the villa is a stunning garden with citruses and olives and with outdoor pool, equipped lounge area and grill invite to relax in privacy of this quiet area.The chapel of St. Jerome is also a part of the garden area

The location of Villa Carpe Diem is wonderful – Zaton is a picturesque and charming bay a perfect for relaxing in the sunshine and swimming in the sea. It has little pebbly beaches and swimming spots, and plenty of pine trees for shade – it’s really pleasant to walk along the shore or just to sit in one of the little sea-front restaurants sipping a glass of local wine. Just five minutes drive from the house, you will find a resort ‘Sun Gardens’ with bars and restaurants, various sport facilities, playgrounds for kids and an extensive spa and wellness center
